HOW GET A VAT REFUND IN PARIS?

With three easy steps...

1. Ask for a Detaxe form at the store you make your purchases at. Keep both the receipt and Detaxe form for when you go to the airport.

2. Fill out the Detaxe form before getting to the airport.

3.  When arriving at one of the Paris airports, locate one of the Detaxe locations. These are either PABLO self-service machines or the Travelex counters. For an instant cash refund, you will enter another line and be reviewed by a customers officer. Be sure to have your passport, boring ticket and all your purchases on you. You can also send your VAT refund form off and wait for a payment in the mail. Just be sure to have it stamped, scanned and drop it in the post mailboxes around the airport terminals!
