Classy choice: Huitrerie Régis
Surely one of the acclaimed best oyster bars in Paris offering delicious seafood and oyster platters at your choice. Their oysters are so sweet and fat, you can easily quench your thirst for a luscious oyster meal! They offer Marennes-Oléron oysters that have been immersed in the basins of the ancient salt marshes, raised in the open sea and had their passage in Claire, adding on a yummy nutty taste onto the oysters. The restaurant is cosy, with friendly staff happily translating the menu for you if French isn't your expertise.

This oyster bar may look like ordinary crêperies with a marine theme, but it's a hidden gem for those who love seafood. In Plein Mer, you're guaranteed to find a wide range of seafood from fresh seawater. Besides, their oysters are all freshly transported from Cancale, a prestigious famous site for oyster production in Britanny! Prices range from less than 10€ for a dozen to 19.5€, it's a real bargain for the quality! You can also get a very typically Breton pastry specialty, Kouign-amann, a cameralised buttery cake (hard to find outside Brittany)!

Trendy seafood: Clamato
When we talk about Clamato, was it the bottled tomato juice that popped up your mind? You may have to think about it again, because the Clamato in Paris is a super chic seafood restaurant dedicated to hipsters and seafood lovers! Run by Michelin-starred chef Bertrand Grébaut and Théo Pourriat, Clamato is actually the sister restaurant of Septime, another very intriguing French cuisine outlet. The interior design is rustle but cosy, with wood being the main theme of the restaurant and very stylish staff readily at your service. You can try wild oysters sent from Ireland or Brittany and all sorts of delicate shellfish at reasonable price (6 oysters for 16-18€). They also have an incredible selection of wine waiting for you to try!

Pamper yourself: La Coupole
This restaurant is perfect for those who fancy a more upscale seafood dining experience. This legendary brasserie is an iconic landmark in the Montparnasse area. Established in 1927, famous artists and authors such as Picasso, Man Ray, Sartre etc were customers here. The Art Deco interior design and the seafood platter are absolutely a timeless classic.

Looking for a more upbeat seafood dinner? Come to Le Bouillon de l’Est! Every Wednesday evening from 6pm, you can enjoy Gillardeau oysters for just 1€ per piece (where to find such a good deal for cheap oysters with quality?) while stock lasts. As it's extremely popular with the locals, you may have to come earlier to make sure you get a seat! They have regular live music in the bistrot too, what an amazingly relaxing vibe!
