Yesterday we attended the 11th edition of the Omnivore World Tour at the Maison de la Mutualité in the heart of Paris.
This festival, which gathers the world’s best up-and-coming talents of the Gastronomy scene, threw the light on Montréal this year and showcased the best of tomorrow’s culinary talents.
Special thanks to the great start-up Instant Chef which invited us to the event!
We were able to taste some delicious and unique products, like potato-based cake, tonka bean & vanilla-flavored mustard, caviar bars, superb cider by Appie and cane sugar blocks by Payet & Rivière!! We also met a number of passionate and inspiring entrepreneurs who aim at changing the food ecosystem.
We also took a look at the grand stage in the auditorium where young chefs were competing for the 21st Palme d’Or of the Leaders France Club.
To end on a high note, we decided to take a stroll on the 5th floor where tasty beer, tequila (by La Escondida), and whisky were on display. We obviously couldn’t get off of this event without appreciating a glass of beer.
